Dr. Wang received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Nanchang University, China in 2004. In 2009, he received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Wuhan University, China, where he investigated the molecular mechanisms and biological functions of microRNAs in malignant diseases. After that, he joined the School of Life Sciences and Technology at Xidian University in China as a faculty. In September 2012, Dr. Wang joined the Laboratory of Molecular Imaging and Nanomedicine (LOMIN) at NIBIB as a visiting fellow. His research is mainly focused on the development and application of various reporter genes to elucidate important biological processes in living organisms.
