Dr. Tong received her degree in biomedical engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne, Compiègne, France, in 2009. She then joined the Laboratory of Experimental Molecular Imaging (LIME) at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) under the supervision of Professor Bertrand Tavitian and received her Ph.D. degree in physics from Université Paris-Sud in 2012. Dr. Tong’s Ph.D. research focused on the image processing of Fluorescence Diffuse Optical Tomography (fDOT) and Positron Emission Tomography (PET). Important components of this research, conducted by Dr. Tong, were the construction of a multi-angle fDOT system and the derivation of image processing methods from this fDOT system. She joined the Laboratory of Molecular Imaging and Nanomedicine (LOMIN) at NIBIB in August 2013. Her current research interest focuses on dual tracer dynamic PET imaging, optical and multi-modal image processing.
