Uncovering Connections: Imaging Advances in Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury and Alzheimer's Disease
Lister Hill National Center, NIH Campus Bethesda, Maryland
February 03, 2014 8:00am - 5:00pm
Over the past five years, the contribution of biomedical imaging to research and development in the neurosciences has exploded. The ‘collision’ between advances in imaging technology and advances in our understanding of the pathogenesis and quantitative assessment of a variety of neurological diseases has been outstanding. The goal of this conference is to create an interdisciplinary forum that can bring together experts in biomedical imaging and neurological diseases to discuss ways and means to optimize our research investments in these fields.
Dr. Roderic I. Pettigrew, Director of the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering, will present during the Technology Development Section.
8:15-9:45 Autism Section
10:00-12:30 Brain Injury Section
1:15-2:45 Alzheimer's Disease Section
2:45-3:45 Connections Discussions
4:00-4:45 Technology Development Section
