A team of researchers including NIBIB investigator Kit Lam at the University of California Davis has discovered a new class of nanoparticles capable of packaging a diverse array of drugs. Research findings demonstrate structural and dynamic changes within nanoparticles during interaction with blood proteins which will result in better designed nanomedicines that will be therapeutically more efficacious.
