New Laser-Based Tool Could Dramatically Improve the Accuracy of Brain Tumor Surgery, Researchers Show

NIBIB grantee Sunney Xie and colleagues are developing a new technique, called stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) microscopy, that can easily distinguish tumor tissue from normal tissue in the brains of living mice.
