Implementing FIND-Seq to understand HIV reservoirs
The Boritz laboratory has a long-running interest in understanding virus reservoirs in patients living with disease, particularly HIV. Working with the Microfabrication and Microfluidics Unit, they have been working to implement a novel workflow called FIND-Seq (PMC9908556), developed in collaboration with the Clark group UC Berkeley, in their own lab at NIH.
A summer project could potentially focus on one or more of device refinement, wet lab protocol development, or bioinformatics pipeline development and data analysis.
