Biography

Tseday is a Supervisory Grants Management Specialist in NIBIB's Office of Grants Management and has accrued extensive experience in grants management through various leadership roles. As a Lead Grants Management Specialist at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), she managed large HIV/AIDS Clinical Trials Networks and clinical trials. She oversaw complex cooperative agreements, including the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials Network (IMPAACT), Advancing Clinical Therapeutics Globally (ACTG), the Consortia for HIV/AIDS Vaccine Development (CHAVD), the Immune Tolerance Network (ITN), and  administrative supplements for the COVID-19 Prevention Network (COVPN). Subsequently, as Supervisory Team Lead at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), she managed a team of specialists, providing mentorship and training, and managed projects for such initiatives as NCI's Cancer Moonshot.

Prior to NIH, she was a Senior Program Officer in a non-profit organization, overseeing critical initiatives, such as the Reception and Placement Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Department of State. In this capacity, she was a primary liaison with stakeholders, including government agencies and institutions involved in resettlement and immigration.

Tseday holds a B.A. in Behavioral Social Sciences from the University of Maryland and a Master's in Public Administration from George Mason University. Additionally, she completed the NIH Mid-Level Leadership Program.
