Audrey Noguchi

Biography

Audrey Noguchi obtained her B.A. from Oberlin University in 2004. She then joined the Post-Baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Program (IRTA) at the NIH. She became skilled in microsurgery and other procedures in research mice and joined Dr. Mark Gladwin’s lab in NHLBI in 2006. Audrey then joined Dr. Danielle Springer’s Murine Phenotyping Core in NHLBI in 2008 where she assisted researchers across the NIH to perform procedures in multiple disciplines, including metabolism, behavior, neuromuscular, cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases. In 2024, she joined Dr. Manu Platt’s MATRICES Lab as lab manager and lead in mouse microsurgery procedures.

Research Interests

Developing and learning new mouse microsurgical models to further scientific research.
