Dr. Irfanoglu received his MS degree from the Computer Engineering department of Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey and his PhD from the Computer Sciences & Engineering Department of the Ohio State University. He spent several years as a post-doc in SQITS section in NICHD and has been a staff scientist in NIBIB since 2017. Dr. Irfanoglu's research interests lie in the application of image processing, computer vision and machine learning techniques to medical imaging data, with focus on MRI. He has been a member of the International Society of Magnetic resonance in Medicine and IEEE communities.
