Yicong Wu received both his B.S. (1999) and M.S. (2002) degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Zhejiang University in China, and in 2007, received his Ph.D. in Electronic and Computer Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in China under the supervision of Dr. Jianan Qu. After graduation, he served a postdoctoral fellowship in Dr. Xingde Li’s laboratory at University of Washington, and also at Johns Hopkins University, where he worked on developing endomicroscopy technologies for nonlinear optical imaging and optical coherence tomography. He is currently a research fellow in NIBIB's section on high resolution optical imaging where he is developing new imaging tools for use in biological and clinical research.
