Zeyad Emam is a pre-doctoral IRTA awardee, a part of the NIH-University partnership (GPP), at the NIBIB Laboratory of Cellular Imaging and Macromolecular Biophysics (LCIMB), where he works on computer vision problems in biomedical imaging. Zeyad is currently a Ph.D. candidate in applied mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP). Zeyad obtained a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from UMCP in 2015. When he is not in the lab, Zeyad enjoys playing water polo, running, and travel.
