This workshop seeks to further advance interdisciplinary collaborations in maternal health technology by bringing together researchers, technology developers, and community partners to identify technology gaps and consider how new technologies can be used to improve maternal health and ultimately treat and/or prevent maternal morbidity and mortality (MMM).
Learn about the NIH Technology Accelerator Challenge for Maternal Health and how to enter a submission at this informational webinar. The challenge is offering up to $1 million in cash prizes to spur and reward the development of low-cost, point-of-care molecular, cellular, and/or metabolic sensing and diagnostic technologies to guide rapid clinical decision-making, improve patient outcomes, and ultimately prevent maternal morbidity and mortality.

This event will communicate the vision of grand challenges in biomedical and behavioral research that will motivate Data Generation Projects. There will be networking opportunities for individuals with diverse expertise and backgrounds to meet and interact.
Each Microlab will focus on two of the six required modules for Bridge2AI Data Generation Projects (i.e. teaming, data acquisition, data standards, ethics, tools, skills and workforce development) and will include a brief introduction on the rationale, purpose, and requirements for each module of expertise. The Microlabs will include time for interactive networking activities.
