SSP is a non-profit organization that focuses on promoting “the understanding and appreciation of science and the vital role it plays in human advancement.” In addition to producing a range of publications covering science news, SSP supports annual science competitions, such as the Intel Science Talent Search, Intel International Science and Engineering Fair, and Broadcom MASTERS, and other educational programs.

The National Science Digital Library (NSDL) was created by the National Science Foundation to provide organized access to high quality resources and tools that support innovations in teaching and learning at all levels of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. NSDL is a digital library of exemplary resource collections and services, organized in support of science education at all levels.
AAAS helps advance science education through a number of programs that focus on school curriculums, resources for educators, public education, scientific career advancement and workforce training.
