This program supports large research networks pursuing the development and dissemination of bioengineering technologies for biomedical intervention.

Emphasis

This program focuses on supporting research centers to develop complex bioengineering innovations with the potential to translate into impactful biomedical interventions. Centers develop and apply bioengineering technologies through synergistic collaborations with other laboratories to further advance and distribute the center’s core innovations across a range of early-stage, translational, and clinical research. This program encourages projects that are coordinated with the other bioengineering programs in the division and in conjunction with the opportunities in the NIBIB National Centers for Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering Program.
